Education
Dr. Mostafa Gouda’s academic journey reflects a profound dedication to the fields of biochemistry, nutrition, and food science. He earned his B.Sc. in Biochemistry from Cairo University, Egypt, in 2008, graduating with high honors. He continued his studies at the same institution, completing an M.Sc. in Human Nutrition with excellence in 2015. Further pursuing his academic aspirations, Dr. Gouda obtained a Ph.D. in Food Science and Technology from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China, in 2018, again graduating with honors. He then advanced his expertise with a Postdoctoral position in Biosystems Engineering and Food Science at Zhejiang University, China, from 2019 to 2021, achieving excellent results in his research.

Dr. Mostafa Gouda has garnered numerous prestigious awards and held significant positions throughout his career. From 2023 to 2026, he is honored with the Outstanding Special Fund Program by Zhejiang University and the China Postdoctoral Foundation, reflecting his exceptional contributions and the high regard in which he is held. Previously, he received the Talent Postdoctoral International Program award from the China Postdoctoral Foundation for his outstanding work from 2019 to 2021.
In a notable leadership role, Dr. Gouda was appointed as the Director of the Silkroad (Yangling) Biohealth Agricultural Industry Alliance at Northwest A&F University, China, from May 2021 to May 2026. His role as the Principal Investigator for the Egypt side in the Zhejiang University Belt and Road international project agreement further underscores his pivotal contributions to international research collaborations.
Dr. Gouda has also been a prominent speaker at various international conferences, including keynote addresses at the “Creative Agriculture: 10 Million Projects” conference, the 4th International Microbiota Academic Conference, and numerous others.
