Dr. Magda Tsolaki, born in Thessaloniki, Greece, pursued Medicine and Theology at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She began her collaboration with AUTh in 1982, specializing in Neuropsychiatry and earning her PhD in 1983. As a Professor of Neurology since 2010, she served as Head of the 1st University Department of Neurology (2017-2020) and is now an emeritus professor. Founder of the Greek Alzheimer Association (1995) and the Greek Federation of Alzheimer’s Disease (2007), she chairs both organizations. Dr. Tsolaki established three Public Dementia Units and authored over 285 Greek and 119 English papers, contributing significantly to neurology with an impressive impact factor and citations. Her contributions include 70 books, extensive lecturing, and leadership in dementia research and advocacy. She has received numerous awards and is involved in national and international dementia initiatives.
