Prof. Mirjana Misita is a distinguished academic at the University of Belgrade’s Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Serbia. She earned her degree in Industrial Engineering in 1994, followed by a Masterās in 2001 and a Ph.D. in 2007, focusing on decision-making models and organizational structure. Prof. Misita has been an influential member of several professional bodies, including the Council of the Faculty and the Management Board of the Association for Industrial Engineers of Serbia. She has received the Sveti Sava Prize for her book and has certifications in Market Orientation, Entrepreneurship Development, and Risk-Based Inspection. Prof. Misita actively contributes to teaching quality, accreditation, and conference organization, and currently serves on the Program and Organization Committee for SIE2022.

Prof. Mirjana Misita completed her primary and secondary education in Belgrade. She pursued higher education at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Belgrade, graduating in 1994 with a degree in Industrial Engineering. She continued her studies there, earning her Masterās degree in 2001 with a thesis on decision-making models and her Ph.D. in 2007 with a dissertation on the influence of company size on organizational structure.

Prof. Misita has been an influential member of several professional bodies, including the Council of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering (2010-2012), and the Management Board of the Association for Industrial Engineers of Serbia (2001-2010).
