Prof. Mojgan Zendehdel, Arak university, Iran

Prof. Mojgan Zendehdel, a distinguished professor at Arak University, Iran, holds a B.Sc. in Chemistry from Shahid Beheshti University, an M.Sc. in Inorganic Chemistry from Al Zahra University, and a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from Shahid Chamran University. She is an esteemed member of various professional societies including the Iranian Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Society and the International Zeolite Association. Prof. Zendehdel teaches a broad range of chemistry courses across undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels. Her research focuses on Catalyst Chemistry, environmental applications of meso- and microporous solids, and nanocomposite materials for drug delivery. Prof. Mojgan Zendehdel received her B.Sc. in Chemistry from Shahid Beheshti University (1993), M.Sc. in Inorganic Chemistry from Al Zahra University (1996), and Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from Shahid Chamran University (2001).

Prof. Zendehdel has taught a variety of courses across different academic levels. For B.Sc. students, she teaches Inorganic Chemistry (I) and (II) and Organometallic Chemistry. For M.Sc. students, she offers courses in Characterization of Nanomaterials, Sol-Gel, Inorganic Nanomaterials (Synthesis and Characterization), Spectroscopy in Inorganic Chemistry, Solid State Chemistry (Nanomaterials), and Kinetics, Thermodynamics, and Mechanisms in Inorganic Chemistry. At the Ph.D. level, she teaches Inorganic Polymer and Solid State Chemistry.

Her research focuses on Catalyst Chemistry (zeolite, zeolite + Schiff base), the design of meso- and microporous solids for environmental applications (water treatment) and green chemistry, nanocomposite materials (synthesis, characterization, and application), and controlled drug release using nanocomposite materials.

Prof. Zendehdel has been recognized as a distinguished researcher in Markazi Province, Iran (2007), and has chaired several international conferences on zeolites.
