🌟 Dr. Vedat Togan studied at Karadeniz Technical University (KTU) Civil Engineering Department between 1996-2000. In 2004, he completed his master’s thesis in the building science department of the same university, and received the title of “Master of Civil Engineering”, and in 2009, he completed his doctoral study and received the title of “Doctor” in Civil Engineering. During his doctorate, he took courses related to his doctoral studies at Ruhr University of Bochum, Germany between 2004-2005, and Delft University of Technology, Netherlands, with a TUBITAK scholarship between 2007-2008, respectively. 📚
🔬 After his doctorate; Assistant Professor at Karadeniz Technical University between 2011-2013. In January 2014, he was appointed as “Associate Professor” to the Department of Civil Engineering at KTU. He was appointed as a Professor at the same University in January 2019. Continuing his research at the Department of Civil Engineering at KTU, Dr. Togan has many articles, papers, and book chapters published in national and international conferences, journals, and books related to optimization, multi-objective optimization, optimization techniques, construction management, and artificial intelligence applications.🌐
