Dr. Periyanayagi S ,VIT Bhopal University, India
Dr. S. Periyanayagi has accumulated 18 years of teaching experience in engineering colleges, specializing in Wireless Sensor Networks, Internet of Things, Machine Learning, Signal Processing, and Wireless Communication. She earned her Ph.D. in Information and Communication Engineering from Anna University, focusing on “Swarm Based Defense Techniques for Certain Attacks in IEEE802.15.4 Based Wireless Sensor Networks.” Her academic journey includes obtaining B.E. and M.E. degrees from Kumaraguru College of Technology and Anna University, both with First Class with Distinction. Currently serving as Associate Professor G2 & Chief Warden Ladies Hostel at VIT Bhopal University, she oversees hostel operations and onboarding processes. Previously, she held roles such as Associate Professor G1 & Program Chair at VIT Bhopal University and Professor & Head at Ramco Institute of Technology, where she contributed significantly to departmental management, accreditation, and curriculum development. Dr. Periyanayagi’s research interests extend to the application of Swarm Based Defense Techniques in securing wireless sensor networks, alongside her proficiency in MATLAB and foundational knowledge of Python programming.
