Jiayan Pan, a registered social worker and university teacher, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Nanjing Normal University. With a keen interest in digital mental health services and migration-related mental health, Jiayan has been involved in numerous research projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing mental health support for Chinese people in Hong Kong. As a researcher, Jiayan has secured over HK$15.5M as a Principal Investigator (PI) for 14 projects, focusing on areas such as cognitive behavioral therapy and post-migration growth. Jiayan’s dedication to innovative mental health services has led to the development of internet-based cognitive behavioral therapy programs, benefiting over 900 clients during the COVID-19 pandemic.
