Dr. Ricardo Machado-De-Avila is a distinguished individual, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2006) and completing a sandwich doctorate in Bioinformatics from the Federal University of Minas Gerais and LaboratorieSysDiag in Montpellier/France (2011) šŸŽ“. With expertise in Biotechnology, his work spans across diverse areas including Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Nanotechnology, and Peptide Biotechnology. His research focuses on Structural Bioinformatics, Proteomics, Immunobiological production, Diagnostic Kits, Toxin characterization, Peptide molecule design, and Tropical disease studies. Currently serving as the Assistant Coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Health Sciences at Universidade do Extremo Sul Catarinense (UNESC) with a distinguished CAPES CONCEPT 7 rating, he holds the position of full professor, guiding master’s and doctoral students in health courses. Dr. Machado-De-Avila is also the Coordinator of the Multi-User Laboratory and Animal Experimentation Center at UNESC. As a CNPq Research Productivity Fellow, he actively contributes as a reviewer for journals and funding agencies.
