- Developed a method based on linear sensitivity factors for system security analysis and optimal locating of Distributed Energy Resources (DER).
- Conducted continuous power flow and power security analysis on IEEE standard transmission test systems.
- Direct Load Control Design on UConn Microgrid:
- Applied machine learning algorithms to mine campus utility consumption data for prediction, pattern grouping, and association analysis.
- Designed a distributed optimization algorithm to assess building-level demand response control.
- Inverter-Based UConn Microgrid Integration Control Design (Sponsored by ParetoEnergy, Inc.):
- Built a 27 kV/10.4 kV back-to-back interfaced distributed system model in Matlab/Simulink.
