Mr. Alain Niyongabo is an accomplished professional with a strong background in hydrology, water resources, and urban planning. He earned a Master’s degree in Hydrology and Water Resources from Hohai University, Nanjing, in 2022, and a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the University of Burundi in 2017. His foundational education began at the Ecole des Travaux Publics de Gitega, where he specialized in Geometric Topography, completing his diploma in 2012.
Mr. Niyongabo has also pursued additional training in key software tools such as COVADIS, ArcGIS, and Visual MODFLOW, enhancing his capability in environmental and hydrological analysis. His professional interests lie in research, fieldwork, and teaching, with a dedication to contributing positively to academia and the development of hydrological studies.
